The annual Redskin season ticket raffle kick-off was on June 17, 2006. Joe Gililland is this year's raffle chairman. This year besides raffling off a pair of Redskin season tickets; we also raffled-off a pair of National baseball tickets. Congratulations to our winner, Susan Montanari. The Nationals ticket winner was drawn at our monthly meeting for August. At our next monthly meeting which will be held at Mount Vernon Country Club on Thursday September 7,2006; the final drawing for a pair of season tickets to the Washington Redskins.
Our new website is up and running; www.forthuntsportsmen.com . Special thanks to Jason Hart (nephew of Rick Genuario) who has helped the board develop a foundation for this website. Scott Daley will serve as the club's webmaster. On this site you will be able to view pictures, upcoming events, and info on the club, download applications and make donations.

Our speaker for this event is Chris Caputo, the Assistant basketball coach for George Mason University . Hearing about their road to the final four will not be something that you will want to miss. Cocktails at 7pm and dinner at 8pm.
The Redskin cheerleaders helped with street sales on Saturday, August 26; from 10-12noon. They were in front of Village Hardware Store, at Hollin Hall Shopping Center . The event was a big success and coverage from the local newspapers is appreciated.
Mark your calendars for the 3 rd Annual F.H.S.A golf tournament which will be held on Friday October 13, 2006 at Fort Belvoir Golf Club.
